Men’s Golf Concludes Season at NEC Championship

Three-round event begins on Sunday, April 30

PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — The University of Maryland Eastern Shore men's golf team is back in action after a long hiatus, seeing their first action since March 21 at the Northeast Conference Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida this weekend.

The Hawks take their practice strokes on Saturday, April 29 before competition begins in earnest on Sunday. The teams will play their second round on Monday before concluding the tournament on Tuesday, May 2.

UMES will face eight conference foes at the year-end event, including Fairleigh Dickinson, Howard, LIU, Merrimack, N.C. Central, Sacred Heart, Saint Francis and Wagner. Getting the nods in the Hawk five are Michael Davis, Thabang Moephuli, Logan Kiley, E Brooks and Mike Weller.
