After back-to-back scoreless innings from Esteban Torres, the Lakers tallied nine runs in the top of the third to build an insurmountable lead.
Neither team scored from the fourth to the sixth inning before Mercyhurst tacked on five more runs in the seventh inning to cement the 14-0 victory.
