HOW IT HAPPENED 

After back-to-back scoreless innings from Esteban Torres, the Lakers tallied nine runs in the top of the third to build an insurmountable lead.

Neither team scored from the fourth to the sixth inning before Mercyhurst tacked on five more runs in the seventh inning to cement the 14-0 victory.

THE NUMBERS

The Hawks finished with zero runs on five hits and no errors while the Lakers tallied 14 runs on 11 hits and no errors.

Joshua Caldwell finished 2-for-3 at the plate, pacing UMES in hits

Janluis Santiago recorded a team-high  2.2 innings of work out of the bullpen, yielding one earned run.
