Omaruaye improves each round; Hawks place sixth at William & Mary Invitational
WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia | The Hawks finished the William and Mary Tribe Invitational with a team score of 959 to place sixth while playing at the Kingsmill Resort. The Hawks combined for team rounds of 319, 321 and 319 during competition on Monday and Tuesday.
Sophomore
Pearl Omaruaye improved each round with scores of 80, 79 and 77.
Tinyan Liu finished with scores of 79, 83 and 78 for a combined total of 240.
Bushra Fatima shot rounds of 82, 80 and 80 for a tournament total of 242.
Junior
Sydney Raines added rounds of 78, 89 and 86.
Alysa Davis finished with scores of 85, 82 and 84. Playing as an individual,
Baylei Sandford had rounds of 90, 92 and 95.
Longwood University won the team title with a score of 893.
The Hawks continue the fall season next week at the Sacred Heart Charge in Littletown, Pennsylvania. The tournament begins on Monday at Quail Valley Golf Club.
