March 23, 2018 PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland — Maryland Eastern Shore’s outdoor track season continues this weekend as the Hawks travel to Newark, Delaware for the Delaware Classic on Saturday (Mar. 24).
The meet will be held at Stuart and Suzanne Grant Stadium on the University of Delaware’s campus. Events begin at 10:30 a.m. with jumps, throws and other field events. Races will start at noon, and the meet will run through the evening hours.
This will be the second meet for the Hawks this spring, after the squad traveled to the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The Shore finished eighth on the women’s side and 11th on the men’s, and four athletes earned qualifications to the IC4A/ECAC Championships.
