PRINCESS ANNE, Maryland - Maryland Eastern Shore's outdoor track squad heads to Newport News, Virginia for the 2018 Captains Classic & Combined Events. Friday's (Apr. 20) events start at 4 p.m. with Saturday's (Apr. 21) events beginning at 11 a.m. at Pomoco Stadium.

Originally the Hawks were scheduled to participate in two meets, but the decision was made to attend Christopher Newport's meet as a team.

Multi and field events will take place Friday, with running events on Saturday morning. Pomoco Stadium is located on Moore's Lane on the Captains' campus.

This is the one final meets for the Hawks before the postseason. After this, The Shore also has the Penn Relay Carnival and the Delaware Open prior to the MEAC Championship in early May.
