Max Osten and Jeter Teng lead Hawks in the Battle at Rum Pointe

UMES SCORING
Max Osten was consistent for the Hawks with a first round score of 76 highlighted by birdies on hole four and hole 13. He played Saturday's final round under par for most of the day and finished with a one-under par 71 which included four birdies. Osten, a freshman from Vancouver, Canada, finished in a tie for 24th place with a tournament score of 147.
Jeter Teng posted back-to-back rounds in the 70s with scores of 77 and 76 for a total of 153 and in a tie for 57th place. Senior
Michael Davis posted round of 77 and 79 for a two-day total of 156.
Andrew Scinta rounded out the UMES scoring for the week with scores of 79 and 82 for combined stroke count of 161.
As a team, UMES finished in 12th place in the field of 15 teams with scores of 309 and 308 and a tournament total of 617.
