SUMMARY
In perhaps the busiest weekend of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore's indoor track and field season, the Hawks were highlighted by the performances of jumper
Faithlyn Irving along with runner Siyabonga Mbatha and sprinters Tyrese Golston and Andie Kollie. UMES competed simultaneously in the Harvard Invitational and Boston University Terrier Classic on Friday and Saturday.

WOMEN'S PERFORMANCES
UMES jumper
Faithlyn Irving continues to impress throughout the indoor season as her triple jump mark of 12.97m was the top leap in the Boston University Terrier Classic. It marked her third win of the indoor season in the event and is her second best jump of her collegiate career in indoor or outdoor while breaking her own school record in indoor competition (12.95m). The jump also ranks among the top 25 in all of NCAA Div. I this season.Â

MEN'S PERFORMANCES
A pair of first place finishes and another school record in the 60 meter dash highlighted the weekend for the UMES men. Tyrese Golston ran the top time in the men's 200 meter race at Harvard with a pace of 21.97 while distance runner Siyabonga Mbatha won the 1000 meter run with a time of 2:30:33, narrowly missing a UMES record of 2:30.26. Mbatha would go on to break the school mark at Boston University with a time of 2:27.73.  A week after setting the school record in the 60 meter dash, Andie Kollie broke his own record with a sprint of 6.68 for a third place finish in Cambridge.
